Confirm that a page is actually unnecessary

A page that looks blank may contain a signature area, a form field, a page break, a hidden annotation, or content outside the visible crop. Check the page in a trusted reader and consider whether its position is intentional before deleting it.

Pay special attention to blank pages between chapters, duplex scans, and documents with odd/even printing requirements. In those cases, an apparently empty page can be part of the intended layout.

Remove the confirmed blank pages

Deletion is not document sanitization

Removing a blank page does not remove metadata, attachments, comments, links, or hidden information on pages that remain. It also does not prove that a page had no underlying content.
